Khan debuted in the 2003 film Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne with actress Esha Deol. The film did not do well at the box office. However, he rose to fame with Farah Khan's Main Hoon Na (2004), where he co-starred with Shahrukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, and Amrita Rao. In Main Hoon Na, he played a big-man-on-campus college student named Lucky. His following release Dus (2005) also did well at the box office.
His 2006 film release Rocky: The Rebel was a box office failure and latest release Cash which has a multi starcast also failed to do well at the box office.
He is brand ambassador for Mirinda.
