Jimmy Shergill (born December 3, 1970) (also known as Jasjit Shergill) is an Indian actor who hails from Punjab (India). Many have likened him in appearance to Hollywood actor Barry Pepper.
He debuted with Maachis and has also appeared in Mohabbatein, Dil Hai Tumhaara, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Haasil, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Yahaan, Hum Tum, Tom, stars and Harry,Kehta Hai Dil Baar Baar,Choddon Na Yaar, Dus Kahaniyan.
Some of his recent roles have been in the popular films Munnabhai M.B.B.S., Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Eklavya.etc
Jimmy also works in Punjabi movies. His Punjabi movies includes Yaaran Naal Baharan and the latest movie, Mannat.
His latest Hindi flicks are Victoria 203 & Choddon Naa Yaar
Jimmy Shergill went to Hindu College in Delhi.
He is married and has one son.
