The Punjabi Pop Singer is fast becoming a pro at singing Tamil and Telugu songs.

Speaking with Daler Mehndi we found out that he is eager to shake a leg with the veteran Superstar Rajnikanth after having given two super hit songs for the Boss’ last year’s Multi crore hit KUSELAN.

We asked the singer what is this strange relation that he has with the South India – “South or North, East or West – why segregate it? India is ONE. Why do you find it strange that an Indian Artist is being showered accolades by his own country men. It is absolutely Natural and this is how it should be. I am blessed that I am an Artist who is loved by Indians all over the country, and the world. And that my music touches them with language playing no Barrier. You see this is the power of Music – it only knows how to UNITE, there is no Division, no barrier. My fans have always appreciated what I have had to offer – that is a personification of BLESSINGS from the Gods.”   

Daler’s celebrated debut album released a decade back “Bolo Ta Ra Ra” sold 2.5 Lakh units in Kerela alone in a week of its release than in Punjab. “I think I have a karmic link with the South.”
